Cвято «Масниці. Колодія»

Шановні друзі!

13-14 березня 2021 року Національний музей Народної архітектури та побуту України запрошує киян та гостей міста на свято «Масниці. Колодія»
Весняний цикл традиційних свят українців розпочинає Масниця. Це неповторне, веселе, колоритне свято, сповнене народних звичаїв та обрядів, коли відбувається перехід від Зими до Вfесни. Наші предки вірили: рядженими, піснями, танцями та різними заклинаннями можна прогнати Зиму та закликати Весну, а до того ж посвяткувати та позабавлятися востаннє перед Великим Постом.
У народі Масниця має такі назви: Масляна, Сирниця, Колодій, Туриця. За християнським календарем Масниця — це останній тиждень перед Великим Постом. В ці дні споживали в основному молочні продукти, вареники з сиром та млинці. Вареник у формі Місяця, а млинець, подібний до Сонця і Зірки — це вічні символи, яким поклоняється людина. Споживаючи вареники та млинці, сучасна людина робить це за давньою народною традицією.
Протягом сиропусного тижня відбувається жартівливий обряд Колодки або Колодія.

Цього року у Національному музеї народної архітектури та побуту України свято Масниці розпочнеться о 13.00 год.
Відвідувачі музею зможуть побачити максимально відтворений давній обряд Колодія (на експозиції «Середня Наддніпрянщина»).
На свято запрошені фольклорні колективи, що відтворять для відвідувачів давні обряди та заспівають народних пісень.
Гостей розважатимуть традиційними народними забавами, запросять до танцю, пригощатимуть смачними стравами: варениками, млинцями та узваром.

Кульмінацією свята стане обряд спалювання «Кострубатого діда», що уособлює злі сили зими.
Свято завершиться о 17. 00 год.
